Before I was a mom.....

Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

i will blog here today as i havent been here in quite some time with the exception of posting pictures... life is going well finally although we are struggling financially again what else is new? the baby is growing well as she is almost two months old already! on the 11th...and she weighed 6 lbs at birth and now is about 10! which i guess is great for her haha....hard for me as she gets heavier haha... emily is doing well too...although she did come home with a black eye from school last week....apparently she hit a little boy and he hit her back! my little princess had her first black eye in kindergarten...sigh...she is finally learning some sign language....she will be seen at the child development center at childrens hospitol to see if she maybe has some adhd or something to help her calm down a bit as she is never sitting still and it makes it hard for her to learn... i never wanted to get her on meds this young of an age but i have no choice as her teacher feels it would help her learn better... so we are goign to look into it... i dont understand why my "friends" block me on myspace but hopefully they will read this blog and email me at baermine2004@yahoo.com...and then we can chat again...ok well i have to get the baby fed and changed and blah blah blah haha....tty later peoples...christina

its definitely a girl , she weighs about 2 pounds and 3 ounces , she yawned twice while they were looking in on her...haha... she does NOT have the brain disorder that my other one has... yay... here she is !

well finally figured out how to put the HTML tag thingees on here duh...haha... now i have my little countdown thing so you can all see how far along the baby and i are...have been doing ok...although major nausea has occured the last two weeks...hopefully that will go away in another month or so...well have to get the other baby from school...will post more tomorrow....
